About This Disclosure
This Risk Disclosure explains the risks associated with trading and investing in financial instruments, and the specific limitations of the verification, scoring, and analytics services provided by ARMA EDGE. Please read it carefully before relying on any information, status, score, or report made available through ARMA EDGE.
ARMA EDGE is an independent, read-only verification and attribution layer for trading track records. It ingests broker-sourced trading history through a read-only exchange API connection and produces performance analytics, a binary "Verified Track" status, and an "Edge Score" (0 to 1000) with an associated letter grade (A, AA, or AAA). Nothing in this disclosure, and nothing produced by ARMA EDGE, is an offer, solicitation, recommendation, or inducement to trade, invest, allocate capital, or enter into any transaction.
By using ARMA EDGE, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the risks described here, and that you accept sole responsibility for any decision you make. This disclosure is dated 23 June 2026.
Trading and Investing Involve Substantial Risk
Trading and investing in financial instruments carry a substantial risk of loss and are not suitable for every person. You can lose some, all, or in certain leveraged or derivative positions more than the amount you commit. The value of positions can fall as well as rise, and losses can occur rapidly and without warning.
No information, analytic, status, or score provided by ARMA EDGE reduces, removes, or insures against this risk. ARMA EDGE does not guarantee, underwrite, or protect any capital, and it does not promise any return, income, or outcome of any kind. You should never trade or invest with money you cannot afford to lose.
Past Performance Is Not Predictive of Future Results
Everything ARMA EDGE produces is derived from historical data. Historical results, however accurate or impressive, are not a reliable indicator of future performance. Markets, strategies, and the conditions that produced past results can and do change.
A trader who performed well in the past may perform poorly, or lose money, in the future. A Verified Track, a high Edge Score, or a top letter grade describes what happened in a recorded history; it is not a forecast, a projection, or any form of assurance about what will happen next.
What Verification Means and Does Not Mean
When ARMA EDGE marks a track record as "Verified," it is attesting that the underlying trading history was sourced directly from the connected exchange through a read-only API connection and was processed without manual alteration of the broker-supplied data. Verification is an attestation about the authenticity and provenance of historical data only.
Verification is expressly not any of the following, and you must not treat it as such:
- •It is not a prediction or guarantee of future profitability or performance.
- •It is not an endorsement, recommendation, rating of suitability, or approval of any trader, strategy, or instrument.
- •It is not investment, financial, legal, tax, or accounting advice.
- •It is not a due-diligence report, audit opinion, or assurance engagement under any professional standard.
- •It does not verify a trader's identity beyond the connected account, their intentions, their solvency, or their conduct outside the recorded data.
- •It does not detect every form of manipulation, and it cannot guarantee that the exchange's own data was complete or free of error.
What the Edge Score and Grade Measure
The Edge Score (0 to 1000) and its letter grade (A, AA, AAA) are quantitative summaries of the consistency and quality of past trading skill as inferred from the recorded history. They are designed to describe how persistent and statistically meaningful a trader's historical edge appears to have been, after adjusting for risk and chance.
The Edge Score is a backward-looking measure. It is not a forecast of future returns, not a probability of future success, not a price target, and not a measure of how much capital a strategy can absorb. Two traders with the same score can experience very different future outcomes. A score should be understood as one descriptive analytic among many, not as a decision in itself.
Statistical and Model Limitations
The analytics, scores, and grades produced by ARMA EDGE are the output of statistical models applied to finite, imperfect data. All such models carry estimation uncertainty: the true qualities of a strategy can never be known exactly from a sample, and any score is an estimate that could be materially different if more or different data were available.
You should be aware of the following limitations in particular:
- •Thin or short track records contain limited information and are deliberately shrunk toward a neutral prior, meaning short histories receive more conservative, less differentiated scores by design.
- •Some inputs are proxy-flagged estimates. For example, execution efficiency may be approximated without full order-book data, so certain metrics are indicative rather than exact reconstructions of what occurred.
- •Models rely on the completeness and accuracy of exchange-supplied data; gaps, corrections, or anomalies in that data can affect results.
- •A measured edge can decay or disappear as markets adapt, as a strategy's capacity is reached, or as the conditions that produced it change.
- •Market regime change can render historical patterns irrelevant; a model calibrated on one environment may not describe a different one.
- •Scores and grades may be revised as additional data arrives, as methodology is updated, or as errors are corrected.
No Guarantee of Introductions or Outcomes
ARMA EDGE allows traders to publish reports and allows investors to browse published, graded strategies and request a double opt-in introduction. ARMA EDGE does not guarantee that any introduction will be requested, accepted, or completed, and it does not guarantee any relationship, allocation, transaction, return, or outcome arising from any introduction.
An introduction is a facilitation of contact between consenting parties and nothing more. ARMA EDGE is not a party to, and accepts no responsibility for, any agreement, arrangement, or dealing that the parties may subsequently enter into. Any decision to engage, allocate capital to, or transact with another party is made solely between those parties and at their own risk.
ARMA EDGE Is Not an Adviser, Broker, Exchange, or Fund
ARMA EDGE is not an investment adviser, broker-dealer, exchange, money manager, or fund, and it is not registered or licensed as any of these. It does not provide investment advice, does not recommend or endorse any trader, strategy, or instrument, and does not assess the suitability of any investment for any person.
ARMA EDGE is non-custodial. It never places trades, never moves, holds, or controls funds, and never takes custody of any assets. The product connects only through read-only API keys; keys that carry trade or withdrawal permissions are rejected, and API secrets are never returned and are stored only as encrypted ciphertext. ARMA EDGE has no ability to act on your account or on your behalf in any market.
Your Responsibility and Independent Advice
You are solely responsible for your own trading and investment decisions and for any consequences that follow from them. You should perform your own independent due diligence and not rely on any ARMA EDGE status, score, grade, analytic, or report as the basis for a decision.
Because individual circumstances differ and the information provided by ARMA EDGE is general and backward-looking, you should seek independent professional advice, from a qualified financial, legal, tax, or other adviser licensed in your jurisdiction, before making any investment or trading decision. ARMA EDGE does not assess whether any strategy or instrument is appropriate for your objectives, financial situation, or risk tolerance.
Leverage and Derivatives Risk
Many of the strategies and instruments reflected in track records on ARMA EDGE involve leverage or derivatives, including perpetual and dated futures and similar products. Leverage magnifies both gains and losses, so a small adverse move in the underlying market can produce a disproportionately large loss relative to the capital committed.
Leveraged and derivative positions can be subject to margin calls and forced liquidation, in which positions are closed automatically and at unfavorable prices, potentially resulting in losses that exceed the initial margin. Funding rates, financing costs, and the mechanics of specific products can further erode returns in ways that historical summaries may not fully capture.
Crypto-Asset Specific Risks
Crypto-assets are highly volatile and can experience extreme and sudden price movements, including total loss of value. Liquidity can be thin or can disappear during periods of stress, making it difficult or impossible to enter or exit positions at expected prices, and the slippage actually experienced may differ substantially from any modeled estimate.
Crypto markets also carry counterparty and exchange risk: an exchange or other counterparty may suffer an outage, insolvency, hack, withdrawal freeze, regulatory action, or failure, any of which can affect both your assets and the integrity or availability of the data ARMA EDGE relies upon. The legal and regulatory treatment of crypto-assets varies by jurisdiction and continues to evolve, which adds further uncertainty.
Data, Availability, and Operational Risk
ARMA EDGE depends on third-party exchanges and infrastructure for the data it ingests and on its own systems to process that data. Exchange APIs may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, rate-limited, or temporarily unavailable, and ARMA EDGE services may experience downtime, errors, or interruptions. As a result, analytics may be delayed, incomplete, or revised.
Although ARMA EDGE encrypts data in transit and at rest and stores API secrets only as encrypted ciphertext using envelope encryption, no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You remain responsible for managing the permissions and lifecycle of any API key you connect, and for revoking access at the exchange if you no longer wish to share your data.
No Warranty and Limitation of Reliance
All verification statuses, scores, grades, analytics, and reports are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. ARMA EDGE does not warrant that any output is free from error or that it will meet your requirements.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ARMA EDGE accepts no liability for any loss or damage arising from your reliance on any information, status, score, grade, or report, or from any trading or investment decision you make. This disclosure should be read together with the ARMA EDGE Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which contain additional terms governing your use of the product.
Jurisdiction and Global Audience
ARMA EDGE serves a global audience. The availability of the product, the meaning and legality of trading and investing activity, and the protections available to you depend on the laws of your jurisdiction, which may differ significantly from those of other users. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of ARMA EDGE and any related trading or investment activity is lawful where you are located.
ARMA EDGE's operating entity and governing law are being finalized and will be set out in the ARMA EDGE Terms of Service once confirmed. Nothing in this disclosure is intended to create rights or obligations inconsistent with mandatory protections that may apply to you under your local law.
Changes to This Disclosure
ARMA EDGE may update this Risk Disclosure from time to time to reflect changes in its product, methodology, or applicable law. When changes are material, ARMA EDGE will take reasonable steps to bring them to your attention. The version in effect at the time you use the product governs your use, and continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated disclosure.
